Food On One Of India’s Worst Airlines Any Good?? ✈️ 🥘
Flying from Jaipur to Mumbai on SpiceJet, I tried their pre-booked meal — and this flight turned out to be the perfect start to a brand new series: T20 With DCT. Delays at the airport, a crowded lounge, and a late take-off meant the journey was already eventful before the food even arrived.
Once onboard, the meal was a mixed bag. The bun and salad were decent, the stuffed potato missed the mark, and the chicken seekh was… questionable. That said, the cake, coconut water, and even the badam milk had their moments. Credit where it’s due. The aircraft itself? Surprisingly clean and comfortable thanks to a leased plane.
This series will follow India’s T20 World Cup matches through food, flights, and travel across the country. No hype, no sugarcoating — just honest experiences as they happen.

Heyy, just wanna clarify something, many people think airline delays happen mostly because of scheduling issues and management issues or other things like staff being late or airline being worse. Most of the times the issue is a technical issue related to the aircraft. There are over a hundred checks that need to be performed divided into the pre-flight, cockpit and the engine start checklists performed by the pilots. If a system isn't working in the aircraft they are to perform the respective procedure which can include following a step by step list to fix the issue or also have to call an aircraft engineer in many cases. This takes time leading to the delays in flights. Its all about every soul on boards safety guys try and understand that it can literally be for your own safety and respect the delay they asked for 😅
