What other cuisines should we do a deep dive on??!
I believe in the US, we'd call the last fruit, Bread Fruit,
FINALLY!!
Thanks for another great Sorted episode. Also a big Thank you to Chef Rafael and introducing us to his cuisine. Everything looked very inviting. As for future episodes may I suggest more of the same region possible further south like Argentina 🇦🇷, or further North like Mexico 🇲🇽 because I have found and observed not only Sorted but the UK in general has a difficult time creating proper South American, or Mexican cuisine.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
This was an excellent video, love a chef from a different country/culture and teaching the sorted and us❤
This guy is really great and I’d welcome seeing him again explaining more to do with Brazilian food, or the relationship between Brazilian and Italian food. He’s knowledgable and comfortable on camera and doesn’t overtalk things. Good vibes.
This was amazing ❤🇧🇷
Really should invite Guga Foods if you want more Brazilian food. Though, this guy is nothing to sneeze over.
I have only had Brazilian meat on skewers. Yum. But I had it in South Korea!
I think you should dive deep into Thai cooking. I had best food when we traveled around the country and the island Koh Toh.
Geez Ben, when you have a 2 star Michelin Chef (more experienced/successful) on the show, respectfully get in the back seat and let the Senior drive…wow…
Brilliant!
É tão gostoso ser fã do canal desde o começo e ver um vídeo desses, me senti muito feliz de verdade. Thank you guys <3
Id love these recipes T.T i have a brazilian neighbor who is like family and she always makes and shares foods with us. Id love to make some of these for her as im trying to extent my cooking 💚💚💚
I love watching these guys explore the world through food but I do have to say that the talking with a mouth full of food is really starting to get to me. Specifically from Barry. The sound is just not pleasant to my ear and I wish they would stop it. I guess growing up and being told to not talk with your mouth full is not taught everywhere 🤣
The Acaraje I had in Bahia/Salvador Brazil had a mini shrimp and salsa mixed together inside the fritter. I'm not much of a fan of fish; however, the swordfish moqueca was incredible. The farofa was just toasted . It didn't have any flavorings, but gave a nice crunchy/buttery texture and flavor. It was served alongside a meat and black bean stew called fejioda, which was my favorite of all the foods there.
Gotta try ximxim. It's a chicken and peanut stew that also uses dende. So good!
Please be warned you can’t use a clay pot on an induction cook top! The glass can explode because the heat doesn’t disperse with the clay like it does with other pots.
It drives me nuts that Brits insist on spelling Chili with a double LL. That would be pronounced "Chee-Yee" in Spanish.
Thank you for another brilliant video.
If you guys ever need black tail venison I'd be more then happy to send some your way
The glass of milk on the side of the chilli tasting would have been a warning sign to me…. Would like to try those. Interesting to watch
As a Brazilian and long time channel fan, big love for this video.
And as someone born and raised in Bahia, I'm particularly happy that you got to try what's basically our most known dish, the Acarajé 🫡
The dedo peppers look like the ones used for white vinegar pepper sauce.
I watch the channel literally every day! And I was very proud to see my country being represented there! Great job, Rafa (as Brazilians would call him).
A suggestion is to have comparisons between Brazilians’ versions of dishes; we have many. But the most famous is the stroganoff. We changed the Russian version completely.
I guess you guys could have a full episode about comparing Brazilian (and other country/dishes) versions dishes, when blindfolded to define which one is better.
Great job everyone!
Is James back?
RafeeYao, nice to meet ya.
