Mexico City’s Creative Soul | Pati Jinich | Pati’s Mexican Table

I’m taking you inside my hometown of Mexico City’s creative scene. From Francisco Enríquez and team at El Volador’s towering sculptures that inspired the Día de Muertos parade scene in the James Bond film Spectre, to Yuriria Alfaro and her family’s papel picado. Since great art and great food go hand in hand, we’re eating lunch with the artists — Tacos de Alambre from Francisco’s favorite taco stand, and new to me fish tamales called Tlapiques made by Yuriria and her mom Doña Berna. I show you how to make both of these meals in my kitchen.
