We Nearly Spent £2000 at London’s MOST OVERRATED Chinese Restaurant… Huge Regret!
Today was supposed to be simple.
We planned to take you inside China Tang, one of London’s most exclusive and expensive Chinese restaurants, tucked inside the legendary The Dorchester in Mayfair.
Instead… we were politely but firmly asked to leave.
No filming allowed.
So we regrouped. Changed tactics. Ditched the big cameras. Went full undercover with iPhones and wireless mics. Very MI5. Very budget Bond.
And somehow… we got in.
We give you a completely honest review, a score, and a mild existential crisis at the end.

In NZ as a kid abalone battered fritters at the fish n chip were $1 each. I can catch them for free on along the seafront if u are keen.

I have to say watching him carve that duck was winding me up. I get the theatre element but it was a bit like watching the Rowen Atkinson present wrapping scene from Love Actually.
Good stealth review, definitely didn’t personally feel it was too bad a price bearing in mind the location.

At the end of the day, it’s a place for people who have ‘loads of money’.
Of course it doesn’t taste much different from the local ‘take away’, it’s not rocket science, people have mastered how to cook certain dish’s.
In this place they can cook with the finest ingredients.
So that greeno hasn’t done this
