THIS SANDWICH CHALLENGE IN UTAH HAS BEEN ATTEMPTED OVER A THOUSAND TIMES SINCE 1980 | BeardMeatsFood

In this week’s episode we’re in Provo, Utah at legendary local eatery Sensuous Sandwich…which has offered this challenge since at least 1982…making it probably the longest standing one I’ve ever attempted…

Now this one is what we call a ‘pay-to-play’ in that you don’t get the meal free if you win BUT you do get your hands on a coveted winner’s shirt, not to mention your picture up on the wall amidst the pantheon of victors! All you have to do is finish one of their 24″ subs with at least one meat and one cheese inside thirty minutes…

Now naturally, since you can also choose to order one of their fully loaded signature sandwiches, there’s a big difference in terms of just how difficult it can be…but I chose there eponymous sandwich…The Sensuous…with ham, turkey, roast beef, jack cheese, lettuce, onions, radish, pickles, peppers, horseradish, mustard, oil and vinegar…and it was every bit as good as I’d hoped!

  1. Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode…

I’m a lone wolf in this week’s instalment, which I’m sure will make for substantially less hilarity than last week, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

Thanks to everyone who watched last week’s episode, which inexplicably seems to have done seven million views in a week 🤯

I hope to see you again this time next week, lots of love, your eternal servant, BMF 🙏

  2. Think i found a solution for your transparent cup situation just make Beardmeatsfood cups, sell some and always travel with one.

  3. How can you expect a sandwich to be sensuous
Eating and sensuality should be different 😂

  4. I was wondering
I love learning new random words and copacetic is one I learned a week ago

  5. Out of all the sub challenges that looks like the best one ever Jesus. Made me dang hungry

  6. if you ever find your self in butler PA, yeah….THAT butler. look me up. would love to cook ya a meal. no challenge. just a meal.

  7. You've accustomed us to doing too well in previous challenges over the past month. No one doubts your qualities, on the contrary. But this video is a little sad; it feels like watching a war refugee eating whatever he finds at the station cafeteria. Over the past month, it's been wonderful to see people cheering you on, but above all, to see that what you do is extraordinary. It gives more meaning to the value of food. It's not like if someone pays and doesn't finish their plate, they throw it away, because they paid for it anyway.
