If the food is yummy, it doesn't matter how expensive or how cheap. For example, in those Chinese or Asian and Italian restaurants, no one will say no to them! It all depends on how the textures and the service are.

$10k a month rent on that street, food profit margins are low 5-10%, 7142 serves per month 238 serves a day ish to break even, its possible, if avg sale is 2 serves 60 sales per lunch and dinner, just to pay rent,

There are many yuppy restaurants that cost $5,000 per person in Melbourne. They also only let you eat in their fine dining restaurant if they like the way you look, if you don't suit their attire they will force you to do take away and make you wait outside. Also Yuppy restaurants all around Melbourne makes you pay for tips at least 25%. We are not a tipping culture in Australia but with all these yuppy restaurant's who are mostly american owned, americans are forcing their tipping culture into Australia especially these very high end yuppy restaurants.

He will be out of business in no time… 14$ cant buy quality. He has to sell 50 meals an hour just to pay the staff. Its impossible math
