3 to 4 oz beef steak
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp Shaoxing cooking wine
1/2 tsp sugar
salt & pepper to taste

2 cabbage steak slices
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp seasoning blend of choice
1 cup water
3/4 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp grated parmesan
salt & pepper to taste
*COMPOUND BUTTER*
1 stick of softened unsalted butter
1 Tbsp Miso ( I used doenjang)
1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
2 tsp dehydrated minced onion
1 clove of garlic
*COWBOY BUTTER CABBAGE*
1 whole cabbage
8 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 clove of garlic
1 Tbsp finely minced onion
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp fresh parsley
1 Tbsp fresh chives
1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Maggi seasoning sauce
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
salt to taste

I like to cut the cabbage into 6 segments. I literally cut it into a square. Cut all the cabbage cheeks off. It leaves a square in the middle. But those leaves are perfect for dolmas, cabbage sheets for cabbage lasagna, and the "viral" dumpling lasagna. That leaves me the core for spring rolls, or lions head meatballs. It's one of my favorite breakdowns for multiple meal prep

I have similar recipe like the first one under my belt. Cutting the same amount of cabbage into thinner strips makes a world difference. Just before turning off the heat, I crack an egg in the centre and put on the lid for 3-5 mins. Remove from the heat and serve on top of fluffy white rice in a bowl. Ta da cabbage bowl with soft runny yolk 🥣
