  1. Yukihira Souma would be disappointed. The dishes stopped being rice bowls and started being really good protein with rice as a side. The rice and the toppings need to be more harmonious for it to qualify as a rice bowl, and you basically lost that after the rotisserie chicken.

  2. Next trip to Japan you’ve gotta go to T Restaurant in NakaMeguro. Perfect for a beef lover like Guga

  3. $25 for a rice bowl is a lot for a homecooked meal, but it could make a good treat. Any more than that… you better get a whole bunch of meals for that cost, and not a single bowl or you better be stupid rich.

  4. Hey Guga, can you rate your food, not based on just taste, but with price, time, and quality? You say it tastes the best in every video, but our taste buds are different. What you like might not be something that I like, but if it is easy to make, low in cost, and has good nutrients, then I would be more motivated to make your dishes at home.

  5. 00:45 "it's easier" Seriously? Assuming you know what numbers are… microwaving food is harder than cooking rice. Tying your shoes is harder than cooking rice. It's literally the easiest thing in cooking. Even potatoes are harder to cook, and noodles are way worse.

  6. Guga please do dry aging/marinating steak in White Monster Energy, it tastes way more citrusy than Sprite so I bet it would do wonders on a steak.🀩

  7. Guga
I've been watching your channel for a couple years now and I found an older one where you made a pineapple , puree and put it on a cheap steak.
That experiment apparently worked , but I was curious if you have ever tried pear. I would love to see how the pear flavor would work on an aged steak, or a couple hours of marinade. I would also be impressed if this made a cheaper steak better. Please do that experiment

  8. Sorry Guga, I never doubt you…but, where do you find a 1-11/2 pound picanha steak for under $25? Even a Chuck steak is running $12-$14.

  9. 1:11 – Friendly tip; don't do that with your chopsticks at a Chinese restaurant. Sticking them upright into your food is incredibly bad table manners.
