What we didn’t expect was one of the most powerful stories we’ve heard behind a food business.
The owner opened Spuddies just nine months ago after turning his life around through recovery and faith. Inspired by the book Faith Like Potatoes, he built this shop from scratch with a mission bigger than just baked potatoes. Scripture on the walls. Worship music playing. Community first.
It felt less like fast food… more like soul food.
The day took an unexpected turn with some chaos outside involving a dog, which made things emotional and intense for a moment. But through it all, the warmth of this place stood out.
Spuddies isn’t just serving baked potatoes. It’s serving purpose.

I love you guys and I watch all the time. However, sadly I couldn't stop thinking about the poor dog! Is it actually safe to be in that man's care? Amazing food, stunning, but left sad with some of the footage on this video – I'm a huge dog lover and I fully understand it's not your fault… but did this need to be in the film – it is a food review?x
