Two contestants from Top Chef are behind JŪN in the Heights, opened by chefs Evelyn Garcia and Henry Lu. Their $85 tasting menu blends Southeast Asian techniques with Mexican, Salvadoran, Chinese, and Texas influences—from Gulf shrimp aguachile and Salvadorian tamal to brisket with peanut curry and a flan de queso to finish. Also don’t skip the mocktails, some of the best in the city.
