   How did the Peanuts give the impression that the Food was made fresh when the people already know it's fresh?

   I don't understand

   I understand that it gives them something to occupy them while they wait

   But what do peanuts have to do with whether or not the food is fresh

   Don't they already know that it's fresh as they're waiting for it to be prepared

   Doesn't the wait let them know it's fresh??

   If anything wouldn't peanuts occupying their mind and making the wait feel shorter make it feel like it ain't fresh?

   I just don't get how peanuts make the food feel fresh
