three tablespoons of honey(add more if you want it to be sweeter)
three tablespoons of sugar(add more if you want it to be sweeter)
three cups of whole wheat flour
add milk as needed
ghee/clarified butter
optional one tablespoon of blackseed
whisk flour, eggs, honey and sugar until well combined
gradually add milk until mixture is well combined
allow to sit covered for at least 10 minutes but up to 12 hours or the next day for best results
**add more milk or egg if the mixture has become too thick
cook on a gridle and use the either your hand or a crepe roller to ensure mixture cooks thinly **you can use a bowl of ice water in between to keep your hand cool + keep the batter from sticking
after cooking on both sides, spoon clarified butter on one side
fold into fourths and keep covered in tupperware
I personally enjoy them plain, however you can add any toppings like honey, nutella, jam + more!
keep on the counter for three to four days or refrigerate for up to week + reheat with a damp paper towel in the microwave 🙂
