  1. I know this is about the food but those outfits are so outfitting lol Hope you and your loved one had a wonderful trip!

  2. I studied abroad in Seoul, S. Korea in 2023. I was a bit worried I’d gain weight from all the yummy restaurants I went to after classes (I’m a sucker for any & all cute cafes), but luckily I did a helluva lot of walking every day to make up for all the consumed carbs lmao 🥯☕️ I miss walkable cities soo much. that ramen looks delish!!

  3. I’m going to be honest, I ate like an absolute a*hole for 3 WEEKS STRAIGHT when we were in Japan and I came home 1/2 lb heavier than when we left lol

  4. i’m so glad you enjoyed all that food on your trip. i feel like way too many fitness influencers are overly strict with their diet and routines, and tell their audience that holidays are not an excuse to let loose and indulge, or everything eaten on a holiday still has to be high protein and as low calorie as possible

  5. The food in Japan is incredible. Quality over quantity. Even their equivalent of trash food from the 7/11 is better than what we get in the west.

  6. Ugh I hope you had/are having the vacation of your dreams! Japan is a dream destination for my partner & I 💚

  7. How is the English over there? I've been wanting to go to Japan my whole life and I want to be prepared for it in case there's a strong language barrier.

  8. Ok that has not really anything to do with the video but I have to say, though, that I feel like the selection of fast food and the portion sizes are just so much bigger in the US than in many other countries. When I watch for example videos of drinks in Dunkin' Donuts, I'm shocked. I'm from Germany, and when I recently went to Dunkin' Donuts with my sister after a long time, I noticed that we hardly have any choice 😅 we had mostly normal coffee with milk. The most high calorie drink we have is ice late or one kind of frappe and thats it. But not ONE drink is over 500 calorie like in the US😭
And japan is like the complete oposite. They have even smaller portions than here in germany and even little healthier fast food options like ramen. So maybe it is a little easier to eat at least healthier there as in the US. Or at least u can buy options that are not THAT high in calorie
(Ofc correct me if im wrong bc i never visited the US.
Oh and ofc have fun in japan❤)

  9. My sisters husband is 1/2 Japanese. His mom made the most amazing food. Thanks for the memories!

  10. So happy to be Japanese American. Japanese food is literally the best. I absolutely love visiting my relatives who still live there!

  11. also it so helps when you can walk it off and walk everywhere! when i was there, i was easily averaging 20k steps a day

  12. We have a planned trip to Japan and am so excited!!! Seeing this reel makes me want to leave today 😂🎉 enjoy your time off

  13. OFC Japan has super fun food but its also great for healthy food <3 I think Japan is one of the few coutries you can have super easy fun food and healthy food to balance out. Japanese breakfast still hits so deep. Plus walking the cities and stairs is a full work out. I would ho out in the morning and come back to my hotel at 10 or 11pm with 25k+ steps. And I also live in a walkable city ^^
