I’ve been a subscriber for maybe a month or so and already have seen so many delicious looking sauces and foods, most of which I had never heard of before. Great channel!!
You're such a wonderful cook and teacher. Why do you use such a meh salt? Proper kitchens use Diamond Crystal. Other than that, I really enjoy your videos.
Just a safety note: please don't pour from a bottle of alcohol! Alcohol could catch fire, travel up the stream into the bottle, and then explode! Pour the alcohol into another vessel first so there is no chance of turning your alcohol bottle into a glass bomb.
I dk how likely this is to happen but I don't take the risk. Glass embedded burns sounds like hell to me.
Terrible recipe for the simple reason that the "demigloss" or what ever the heck that is… IS part of the recipe, so you should have included it! You don't just leave out a crucial part of a recipe. So this one gets a thumbs down.
We don't understand the brown stuff you refer to as demi gloss. Like am I supposed to go to the supermarket and ask for demi gloss and I'm sure they will have no idea what I'm looking for.
I think the item is actually called demi glace
I mean you have a big audience watching in order to follow your instructions you could have better explained the brown sauce you added in.

Superb sauce, thank you! Is it wrong to lust after a pan? Please tell us more about the pan you’re using.
Could you please link the demiglace recipe? That must be a big part of the flavor.

Love your cooking.
Your pots and pans and utensils are so unique! Are they thrifted or antiqued or handed down?
