  2. The fish looked awesome just like the fish did from a previous video. I forget the place right now. I love a Shepherd's pie and bangers and mash. The entire meal looked really good.

  3. Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Looked great! I have my Corned Beef and Cabbage and potatoes in the crock pot right now.

  4. As our last name is O’Brien, did you see a coat of arms our name? You are a descendant of one Patrick O’Brien of Ireland.
This looked like a really neat place. Thanks for sharing.

  5. 7:05 it has a Lott of things in it , it’s very good! For some reason , that was absolutely hilarious the way Mrs. Carly delivered that line so matter of fact and with that smile like the Cheshire Cat 🤣😂 . Mrs Carly should be a comedian!! I mean really, she has absolutely impeccable timing with her quotes. Such as the one of a kind, “ letts go and check this place outt” . Mrs. Carly is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND💯💯💯.

  7. Yummy! I love fish n chips and shepherd's pie. The menu was huge. I wouldn't be able to decide what to order. I'm glad you got your Irish on in Richmond. Enjoy your upcoming week.

  8. Your meals looked yummy.. Haddock is my favorite fish, and it looked so crispy and good! But I think the winner was the bangers and mash! It looked like stick to your ribs comfort food! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ 😊❤

  13. Well, everything looks delicious and authentic! I'm glad you liked everything you ordered.
Thanks for bringing us along! 💜

  14. I am very surprised they are calling it a shepherds pie. Traditionally shepherds pie is made with lamb 🐑 and does not have cheese on top. Cottage pie is made with beef 🥩. I guess the pub caters to what they think their customers want.

  15. Have y'all tried The British Embassy? It's a restaurant, somewhere in downtown Richmond. We haven't been yet but it's on our list. Supposed to have a terrific fish n chips.

  16. The next time y'all are in the Florida Panhandle it's a MUST to eat at McGuire's Irish Pub. Truly Irish style pub and restaurant. The ceiling and walls are covered with over $1 million signed $1 bills. Plus it's mandatory ( just kidding) famous Senate Soup. The very same recipe and price that is served to Senate Members. The price hasn't changed since it's beginning.

…And you have to get a photo of the three of you kissing the Moose. There are locations in Destin and Pensacola.

  17. Techically, shepherd's pie is made with ground lamb. If it's made with ground beef, it's called cottage pie — one of my favorite casseroles for a cold winter evening.

  18. We really wanted to do a St. Patrick Day video but sadly, we have no Irish place nearby. The food looked good. Great video review

  19. Now that's some good looking fish and chips and the size of the fish was a generous size for sure and I'm willing to bet that the video doesn't do it justice, however it looks like they could have gave you more fries especially for the price for it but overall it looks delicious. Never had shepherds pie but it looks like a unique and delicious dish but David's bowl of French Onion soup looked good and I bet it was packed with flavor? Thank y'all for sharing this with us and always y'all rock.

  20. Team Cindy for first place team Carly for second place and team David for a respectable 3rd. Food looked amazing second only to the T shirts, they look great. Thank you so much for the shout out Really means a lot. God Bless and safe travels.

  21. The O'Toole's in Centreville, VA was very similar to this. My comments on "Cottage Pie" (Americanized Shepherd's Pie) are elsewhere in this listing. I went to several Irish pubs in NOVA over the years. Our O'Toole's was more of a "meet market". The menu at yours was very similar to Centreville's! One of my post-divorce ex's and I used to go there early on St. Patrick's Day. We took turns on being the "Designated Driver". I think it was 2016 that we had a very "special" St. Patrick's Day date. March 17th is the anniversary of my first date with my ex-wife. And, that one was on a Friday! So, imagine the Friday night crowd AND the St. Patrick's Day crowd! Yes, it was loud! Yes, it was boozy. (Not really our scene. But, we went with it…) It was also the only one where I was the designated driver! And, I was told repeatedly, "Order the oysters!!" There are so many similarities between yours and the one that was in Centreville that I wonder if it was co-owned, or a knock-off? Great video. Not surprised at David liking the Bangers & Mash. It was one of my favorites, too. Disappointed at him not ordering the onion rings. Cindy, your fish looked great. But, the chips at the O'Toole's in Centerville were ridged, as I recall. As for Carly's choice… Either she's the most trusting soul in the world, or the "Shepherd's Pie" in her school cafeteria is actually fit for human consumption! Enjoy your live on Tuesday night… God Bless!

  22. Top of evening to ya vafunsters! I had early St Paddy’s Day dinner tonight. It was excellent. Yhe best I ever had. The soup is a favorite of mine. All looed great. May the luck of the Irish be with you. Take care and stay safe! ☘️☘️☘️🇮🇪
