  1. Why do people insist on enabling and creating monsters? Oh yeah the problem with everything, patriarchy and white supremacy.

  2. The assaults that he did on these interns and employees are outrageous. It is shameful how he is acting like he is the victim and doing them a favor.

  3. For the rats against this Master: if you cant stand the heat stay out of the kitchen! Haute cuisine is pressure. Or get another job, you dint have to work there, you backstabbers!

  4. When you put anyone on a pedestal they CAN succumb to their worst impulses. Whats the difference in all good authority figures and the bad ones? Regular accountability. When power is unchecked people become monsters

  5. Good riddance! It’s not only fancy restaurants that are abusive but restaurants with bad management of low caliber as Lubys & other franchises. Racist leaders throwing pans, grease and companies looking away from low wages of immigrants while ridding them to avoid complaints. Taking advantage of employees hard work has been an oversight for years.

  6. As a chef myself that's been working at restaurants throughout Europe since the late 2000s I'm very surprised news like these doesn't come out more often. These allegations are extremely common in the restaurant industry. Or it was rather.

  7. I'm a former Chef that worked in a Michelin Star place in Paris, there's NO meal that costs that much money anywhere!!! Many restaurants take advantage of the ignorance of the customers

  8. Yall are soft af and probably have no idea what it’s like in a professional kitchen. It’s always been like the military, you follow orders and keep going to the best of your abilities no matter what your chef says. Been like that for ages. I’ve had chefs who’ve thrown hot sizzle pans at me for messing up their dish. I looked at it as a learning experience, not abuse or messing with my mental health. This food industry is getting so soft nowadays it makes me sad

  9. chefs are notoriously like this. Its an extremely stressful job. I had a friend that was a chef and he died at 35 of a massive heart attack while working.

  10. Worked in a five diamond restaurant decades ago. The head chef/owner and sous chef, were two of the biggest pricks I've ever met in my life, to this day still.

  11. “I’m going to step away… OK?!?!!?”.

“We need to tell the world this hasn’t been happening for a long time.. OK?!!?!?”

Sounds like an abuser piece of s**t

  12. Honestly he wouldn’t talk crazy like that to another grown man. He’d definitely get his ass kicked if he worked construction talking crazy like that.

  13. You know with that kind of behavior should become an American and then you can maybe be president one day like Trump. You know Trump that CNN has carried water for

  14. It should be expected for men (and women) in this situation to acknowledge their accusations publicly and step away.
Instead of firing everyone involved and threatening with legal action/blackmail.

  15. The chefs in the kitchen – always think another example where on the ground more women then men cook but when it becomes a profession see how all the macho makes ruse to the top ! Whatever – it’s society ! Society ok with abusive men in charge all over the world

  16. How do you not deal with what you did!!! U put your hands on people!! Address that!!! Tell me …is that is what’s worth it. Do yourself a favor and disappear for a bit and know that you will not be missed! Go fuck yourself!!! You laid your bed and lay in it!!!! Karma is a bitch!!
