Ramadan in India!! (How 30,000 People Eat Dinner in Old Delhi)
It’s Ramadan, and tonight we’re going on an Indian street food tour in Old Delhi. But first, we’re having Iftar (evening meal breaking the fast) at Jama Masjid in the heart of Old Delhi! Huge thank you to Anubhav Sapra @delhifoodwalks for arranging this amazing tour!
Jama Masjid – We’re starting at Jama Masjid where every evening during Ramadan over 30,000 people gather for Iftar, which is the meal after sunset during Ramadan. It was a beautiful moment, sitting together with 30,000 people sharing dates, fruits, samosas, and pakoras.
Qureshi Kabab Corner – After Jama Masjid, we hit the streets of Old Delhi, an Indian street food paradise. First up for some of the best seekh kebabs at Qureshi Kabab Corner.
Karim Hotel – You can’t go on a food tour to Old Delhi without paying tribute to Karim Hotel, an institution. And Anubhav and I tried Chicken Burra, Brain Curry, Mutton Korma, and Chicken Ishtoo.
Aslam Chicken – For one of the world’s most buttery butter chicken you have to go to Aslam. They grill their chicken, then drench it in yoghurt and cream, sprinkle it with masala, and submerge it in melted butter.
Haji Mohd. Hussain – This is one of the most legendary places to eat in Old Delhi, and their fried chicken is triple fried to give it insane crispiness, sprinkled in masala, and served with a tangy chutney.
Taufiq Biryani – Next up on our Indian street food tour we tried Delhi Biryani, my first time to try this style. It was all about the pickle achar that gave it so much flavor.
Meetha Samosa – Finally, another Ramadan sweet snack is a sweet samosa filled with mild solids.
Ramadan is a special time in Old Delhi, and Iftar at Jama Masjid along with extreme Indian street food in Old Delhi was an incredible experience!

Hello mark
Say Bismillah before eating
99% of these people would sacrifice their own leg just to live in America or any European country

Hi Mark , a minor correction… it is “Stew” not “Ishtoo”
Ishtoo may the spoiled version Stew a local way of ordering this dish.
Karim's stew is a legendary, aromatic, and rich Mughlai-style mutton or chicken curry hailing from the historic Karim's restaurant in Old Delhi (since 1913). It is characterized by slow-cooked meat, abundant onions, yogurt, and whole spices, creating a thick, flavorful gravy often served with khamiri roti
Plan trip to Hyderabad during this month of Ramadan.
That was so COOL
The brain looks delicious!
Thank you Mark! Wish I could have some!

I LOOOVVVEEEE Indian Food…..
Please have a pani puri for me while you are over there 😁
Visit Kerala state once dude
India always seems to have such friendly people. I just wish they wouldn't handle the food so much lol. Buddy with the butter chicken has apparently added his signature finger swipe around the rim of the serving bowl as an ingredient. 😂
ramadan should be called a feast, not a fast.
I was worried about the comments considering this video was about India and Muslims, but leave to it Mark Wiens fans to be decent people. 👍
Hello Mark long time no see each other.
Mark and Anubhav together! <3
Finally it happened! Been wishing for this for so long!
Massive respect to both of you and happy eating!
You can’t even find a Muslim cohost?😂
Mark india has the best food plus you content is nice❤
Frying chicken for over 50 years… and the oil's still the same 😁
Can't lie, if Indian food is prepared hygienically in my opinion it's one the best in the world due to it's unlimited amount of spices. Love it!
This is our India❤ without politics and dirty media. A Hindu, Christian and Muslim sharing food together.
That oil looks older than you Mark 😂
I enjoyed watching Mark experience this moment, how much more would we enjoy and appreciate this moment if we experienced it for ourselves, viewing this video online thru Mark is remarkable but greater it would be if we could all join in on the celebration of life love and faith. ☺️ 🙏 😉
