Josh is legitimately a good interviewer. He has well thought out, meaningful questions while prepared ahead of time but he is also able to dig deeper into things that the guest brings up. This show actually lets you get to know these people compared to Hot Ones which just feels like a press junket with these canned questions that get a response and then they move on.

I don't know who's said this yet, but how Josh saved the interview by opening up with stories of his life was beautiful to witness
Because Johnny is Johnny, most people come in trying to channel the chaos of TV Johnny, Josh did the smart thing and matched his authentic self.

I think that's such an interesting juxtaposition, that he didn't enjoy watching his friends do dangerous stunts but he himself loved doing them.
