Tev’s & Family Kitchen has the BEST Jamaican Food in LA? Best oxtail in Los Angeles too?!
Everybody swears Tev’s & Family Kitchen has the BEST Jamaican food in LA! BUT… the last time I pulled up was 8 months ago — back in July.
And since some of y’all KEEP asking me, “Have you been back to Tev’s yet?!”… I had to spin the block real quick!
You already know I went straight for the oxtails and the jerk chicken. But I’m not gonna lie — I’ve had a LOT of Jamaican food since my last visit, so I came in way more critical this time. Soon as I got there… it was getting PACKED, fast. 😳
The price was pretty good, considering that each platter came with a lot of food, which included meat, three sides, and a drink. And just like before, the customer service was great. So, watch me try their food, and give my honest opinion so YOU can know if these are a MUST, Bust, or mid!

Definitely not the best it taste more American Jamaican , best is wah gwaan Jamaican kitchen and bar on Crenshaw they taste authentic Jamaican when you go to Kingston when I had tevs goat there was no fat on there just goat chunks but wah gwaan goat ,the melty rendered fat with meat and their oxtail is way better 🤤

The food was good but portion was smaller for me, maybe for the food bloggers like your self they give you extra to show 😂
