This Changed My Mind About Casino Steakhouses…

I honestly did NOT expect this… but Cielo Steakhouse at Morongo Casino Resort completely surprised me.
From the atmosphere to the service to the food itself, this experience was way better than I thought it would be.

Each plate offers a playful yet refined twist that defines fine dining in Cabazon, CA.Cielo blends comfort and sophistication, delivering the kind of Morongo Resort experience where the ambiance is just as memorable as the meal.

  1. I have never had sea bass but now I really want to try it. The whole meal looks so good. Thanks for the content King Matthew 👑.

  2. Okay, I'm very impressed with this place. All the food looks incredible, and the ambience seems so relaxing and a fantastic place for a special date. I think the price was very reasonable and about half of what you would pay at a Las Vegas steakhouse on the strip. Great job Matthew.

  3. Hey Matt! Thanks for showcasing the good eats at Morongo. I usually just drive past Morongo but now I want to actually stop and check it out. Can you imagine how much Vegas would charge for all that food?!?

  4. I love how happy and enthusiastic Enrique was haha Great looking sear on that steak and the fish looked perfectly cooked. If you like Chilean Sea Bass you should try Black cod. It's a very similar kind of flaky buttery fish, literally nicknamed the "butterfish"

  5. The food Professor with another hit review. Everything looked fantastic 💥 That sea bass was originally called “Patagonia tooth fish” not exactly the same ring lol

  6. Ate there a few years ago and everything was delicious! You sat in the same booth as we did and the view was so pretty.

  7. Forbidden rice is simply black rice — an ancient heirloom variety once reserved exclusively for Chinese royalty, which is why it earned the name “forbidden.” Today it’s widely available and prized for its deep purple‑black color, nutty flavor, and unusually high antioxidant content.

    Here’s the clean, complete breakdown:

  8. I go to a steakhouse about every other time I go to Vegas. I usually stay four nights around four times per year. That leaves me with around 16 dinners per year plus breakfast or lunch. Of those I go to a buffet perhaps twice. It seems that most of your dinner reviews are either steak, buffet, or pizza. I don't see many reviews for other places. I'd like to see reviews that would persuade me to eat at a specific place from a certain genre other than steak or buffet. It's because I want to try different types of food, and I would like to choose some of the fan favorites. I'd like to go to a recommended French Restaurant, or Italian Restaurant, or Spanish Restaurant, or Chinese Restaurant, or seafood restaurant, or Mexican Restaurant, or Japanese Restaurant, or Jewish-Style Deli (have to go to NY for this one; Stage Deli and Carnegie deli have closed in NY and Vegas), or fusion restaurants, sushi restaurants, or Cuban/Central American fare, or Argentine Restaurant, or Peruvian Restaurant, or Brazilian Restaurant, or Thai Restaurant, or Indian Restaurant, or Canadian Restaurant, or Southern-Style food, or Hawaiian Restaurant, or Creole food, or Cajun food, or soul food. Probably forgot some, and some are too rare to have multiple spots. But the point is, I'd like to try out other types of restaurants, and those that have good reviews by consensus.
