Trying Every Restaurant on the NYT 2025 Top 100 List – Sofreh

Tried Sofreh, one of two Persian restaurants on the The New York Times Top 100 list this year. I’ve been here before and really enjoy it, everything is flavorful and the space has such a unique vibe. If I’m comparing I still like Eyval a little bit more, but this is still a fantastic spot and definitely worth going to.

📍 Sofreh – Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

  1. Dips should always come with bread and entrees should always come with rice or a starch. Weird to have to get it on the side. And rice for $8!!! Insane price for plain rice that’s gotta be a 800% markup on rice. Love your stuff keep it up!!

  2. Kaitlyn! Some short video ideas for you:
Where did your love of food come from?
What’s a dish that transports you back to your childhood?
If you or Andrew had to pick 3 cuisines to rotate for the rest of your life, what would they be?
If you were a dessert what would you be?
If you were to open your own cafe/restaurant, what’s on the menu?

Love your videos, from London 😍

  3. You could argue there’s something to like everywhere but would you visit a restaurant on the top 100 if you hated it?

  4. I LOVE how my algorithm has finally caught on, and as soon as I open YT immediately gives me the latest episode of my favorite show 💃🏽
