Everything I ate (and spent) on a Chinatown food crawl in Flushing, Queens
Everything I ate and spent on a full food crawl through Flushing, Queens, which many people say is the best Chinatown in New York City. Iโve eaten through Flushing a few times now and always have some incredible meals, so I wanted to break down exactly what I ordered and how much everything cost. Of course I had to end the day with hot pot at Chongqing Lao Zao, which is always a must for me.

Flushing ๐ represent! Have you spent much time in Tangram? The food court is so fun. Best egg tarts in the game and black sesame soft serve ๐

Itโs crazy how much the pastries were compared to everything else
Girl, did you chew cud with all that……clean the loo after you're done ๐๐
Thank you for changing the Chinatown voice over for this upload
Dou hua (tofu pudding) is the best desert! Especially with peanuts ๐
Tofu pudding from non-restaurant spaces always hits. I don't know if they do it anymore but Top Line supermarket in Elmhurst has it behind the cashier with an option for boba during the weekends ๐
Edit: misremembered the name
The worst part of having a chronic gastric disorder is I could never eat like this. The best part of having a chronic gastric is I don't have to be sad that I could never afford to eat like this.
Iโd love to have the courage to come stateside and curate a good tour with all the places you go to especially the Asian food spots.
โIt was a pretty wet experience, but they were divine.โ Hell yeah, Kaitlyn. Hell yeah! ๐
Kaitlyn kills it with her food reviews. Ty Queen for eating for your viewers
Vocal fry sounds so not intelligent and sure does not make you look cool. This young people need to start talking like they're educated human being. Ughhhhhhh!!
come to chinatown Brooklyn sunset park is underrated
I never knew NYC had multiple Chinatowns; thatโs so cool!
I was just in Flushing yesterday for my birthday dinner with friends! Can't wait to try a bunch of these next weekend. ๐
0:49 correct me if Iโm wrong but arenโt these Sheng Jian Bao not dumplings?
al pastor style… do you mean cooked on a spit?
chongqing hotpot! yall need to go visit chongqing, china. i just went a few months ago and honestly it blew mt mins
Okay only Manhattan is Chinatown. Flushing is all things Asian. It's Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc and Spanish. My very favorite Spanish empanadas are on Main Street.
Is it just me or does she not try to pronounce the Chinese food names as well as other languages? Not that I expect her to learn Chinese or anything but like the difference between โlahwโ and โlaOwโ or โmoโ being said as Miao, are not difficult to not get as wrong as she did. Please donโt get me wrong love her and her content! Maybe someone else can provide some more perspective. I know these things are hard to pronounce correctly, I just think itโs not hard to get less wrong if that makes sense.
NYC is the only dump that'll charge you $20 for Chinese. Fkn ridiculous
Hey! That's my shop at the 0:15 mark, Banh Mi TBD
Real new yorkers know theres a third Chinatown in Brooklyn
Poor croissant looked a little too crispy ๐
I wish I lived in NYC ๐ข
How can anyone possibly eat $70 of Chinese food in a day?
Chinese al pastor chicken croissant bun is crazy ๐
Oh that is definitely the best tofu pudding! โค
Girl, you must have hollow legs where do you put it all! ๐
It always surprises me just how expensive food is in the US. Yes, I understand the NYC tax is real but damn I don't know how the majority of you guys in big American cities do it.
lamb skewers from Xinjiang. My favorite food from when I was living in China. They are hard to find in the U.S. I'm jealous!
