went to tacos escobar last trip and actually got to meet the owner while dining . the food was awesome and the owner was super nice . their tres leches cup is fire and their chips and salsa was great as were the tacos and ice cold beer …
I was staying at El Cortez some time back, and I had a good time at 7th and Carson. They had an unlimited mimosa brunch, and I set a goal to try all of the flavors, maybe 12 of them. I think I made it to 8. I took the last one in a to-go cup too.
Bar Boheme is an absolute must if you like French Food. Pricey, but a good "budget" option is the Chicken for Two. Tons of food and a full experience for less than 100$. Actually feeds 2 fat dudes and their mother.
