  1. Love this style video. Just the natural sounds of the utensils chopping and frying, kids playing in the background. Keep it up

  2. Funny, I just cooked a cabbage dinner last night! It was a recipe my mom had that said at the bottom my dad, and I liked it! This was a cabbage casserole with canned corned beef, lots of cabbage layered with the corn beef, and a white, cheesy sauce poured over it. It was just ok as I think I should have made the sauce thicker because it came out more like a soup! If the sauce were thicker it would have been much better, but I don't recall ever eating this so my mother must not have made it when I was older which should've told me it's not great!๐Ÿ˜… Your recipe looks much better!๐Ÿ‘โœŒ๐Ÿ—ฝ

  3. Why would you turn a nutritious, high fiber vegetable into a fat laden heart attack on a plate? Try this instead.

Shrewd your cabbage and place it in any oven safe pot, slap in a tablespoon of smart balance, cover and bake for 25 min at 300ยฐ. (I do mine in an aluminum foil tent in a toaster cause thats all Iโ€™ve got)

When itโ€™s done, drain any excess liquid from cooking in a mesh strainer, sprinkle a little salt, pepper or Cajun spice and youโ€™ll swear youโ€™re eating perfect, al dente egg noodles. You can also cover then with a marinara or Bolognese sauce and youโ€™ll never miss the pasta. BTW, Iโ€™m not a vegetarian and discovered this kinda by accident.
And while I donโ€™t doubt this recipe is delicious, it so loaded with fat it almost negates the presence of a vegetable being in there at all.

And for those of us who enjoy a good Wagga beef burger, I don't see this in any way replacing meat.

  4. Excellent video Sophie! Short and too the point, and it's something any of us can do when we get home. Not like some cooking videos that are like a small project that takes an hour to prepare for. Keep the videos coming! โค

  5. Make a very similar meal with chicken or pork instead of cabbage. This sauce makes everything delicious.

  6. Better than meat??? Lol! You do no know much do you! Vegan I guess…….but as a side dish?? Oh yeah,….๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. Immer diese dรคmliche Aussagen Kohl oder irgendwas schmeckt besser als Fleisch. Das ist dumm und unnรถtig.

  8. Apparently Substack is charging for this recipe. Until I saw it here I was goling to make it and post it for free. It's food. No one should be charging for this except the organic ad revenue.

Sorry, as a seasoned cook, I'm certainly not paying for this.
    Grill the cabbage
    Make the sauce
Baste the cabbage, cover with cheese.
Broil. Ingredients list tells the rest. You have 5.6 million subs. Are you really that greedy?
