Fine dining Indian restaurant Itihaas in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter
Come with me to Itihaas, a luxurious fine-dining Indian restaurant in Birmingham’s Jellery quarter. They recently introduced their Market Street menu that blends heritage flavours with a refined, contemporary edge—all set within interiors inspired by the grandeur of the Mughal era.
The Royal Thali delivers a composed selection of classics—the lamb seekh kebab, delicately spiced and succulent; the Delhi butter chicken, rich and velvety; and a fragrant Kashmiri lamb pilau that ties it all together effortlessly.
The pao bun trio introduces a more modern touch, with the lamb keema pao standing out—deep, layered flavours with a subtle indulgence.
Elsewhere, the chicken shawarma is fresh and aromatic, the chilli garlic chicken rice bowl bold and well-rounded, and the samosa chana chaat brings contrast through texture and tang.
A dining experience that feels both rooted in tradition and elevated in execution, with a menu that thoughtfully caters to halal diners.
