I'm 99% sure the cheese he hated is Gjetöst. I LOVE it! I used to work at a cheese store during college, first had that cheese there (we had to try all the cheeses in order to be able to describe/ recommend cheeses based on what the customer wanted to try. After college I went to Europe using a 3 month Eurail pass. Went to Norway, had the best gjetöst there. Yum!!! It's a bit carmel-ish tasting with a deep smooth tanginess, NOT goat's hair tasting 🤨! I've bought gjetöst here in the U.S. as well.
