  2. Lovely restaurant…. Always on my list in Mumbai .
    Such fantastic food !!
Staff are quite knowledgeable about the food .

( although can’t remember spotting Noel D’souza on my frequent visits )

  3. Gaylord – tried and tested ! Can never go wrong! Noel always there smiling and welcoming! Bakery to die for ❀

  4. Nice. Pl. visit Hotel Varhadi Tadka at Prabhadevi. Its tiny hotel but the taste is amazing. The Chef is Owner & Ex Chef at Taj & Trident. Must visit place.

  5. That really took me all the way back to when Gaylord opened. We used to live opposite the oval maiden in Churchgate, close to Eros. Gaylord was the family favourite. Many afternoons my Dad would take me along for the tea time jazz hour with live bands. As I grew up alfresco breakfast was a unique pleasure. We celebrated many New Year Eves here & my favourite dish was the Chicken A La Kiev. Gaylord has stood the test ot time rather robustly & is one of the few remnants of a charming SOBO fast disappearing.

  6. I lived in Colaba(my favorite place in Mumbai) for a short span of about8-9 months before I left India in 1979.
I never knew such iconic restaurants existed in Mumbai back then.
Now am back in india, and would take a food trio of Mumbai expoloring Parsi and other eating places reviewed by the vlogger.
I hope these places will continue to maintain their legacy for a long time to come.
    Bon AppΓ©tit πŸ₯‚
Can someone tell me the lication please?
    Thank you❀

  7. This is a singular episode. Saari khudai ek taraf Gaylords ki rivaayat ek taraf. The Nehruvian era over the current junk.

P.S.: You carve the meats so well.

  8. 1 vicharu ka?
Fish with cheese sauce (milk product).. It's a dangerous combination, where it affects on the skin or in blood.. Where person can suffer with skin deceases….
    Please explain..
Karan fish with milk product aapan avoide karto…

  9. Kunal bhai with all dew respect, I adore you for your grounded behaviour. Just like Farah. But did you literally eat a chicken drumstick with fork and knife? hahahaha

  10. What about famous "chicken ala poos" of gaylord
From 1975 film choti si baat
A scene between amol palekar and asrani

  11. mr and my friends come atleast once a week from juhu to churchgate just to buy bread and pastries from gaylord and then icecream at rustomji.
also have dinner at gaylord once in few months. it's always a good experience
