  1. Y'all, they were only in London for like three days and they WERE tourists! Of course they did touristy stuff lol. It's also pretty clear that most of this video was shot on like, phones or low tech cameras as they were just enjoying being tourists. It was definitely a 'well we're already here, lets film ourselves eating all the food we're gonna eat anyway' type of vibe lol.

  2. It’s funny because as a Brit who goes to the US a lot, we think your servers are way too attentive and over the top. We like being left alone hahaha

  3. I’m not going to say this to be condescending, more just to explain to people outside the UK/general European countries.

Dining out here are seen as a far more sociable thing than I assume in the US for example. You meet up with friends, family or a date and you chat over dinner and drinks. The wait staff will tend to leave you alone for this reason, so as to not impose on your social setting.

Asking for the bill here generally means you’re ready to leave. You would tend to ask for the bill right at the end after you’ve finished your food and chatted for a time, maybe over wine or tea/coffee which is often offered to you after you’ve finished your meal. Then you pay and leave. So the wait staff won’t ask you if you want the bill because Europeans would see that as the wait staff implying they should leave.

Sketch is definitely overpriced, however again with the service thing, as you said, this experience was created as a snack style social food for upper class women in the afternoon. The idea is to relax, enjoy the afternoon with friends and not rush. It’s not uncommon to spend over and hour and a half at afternoon tea for this reason. So again the staff are unlikely to want to interrupt you.

To reiterate again, this is not meant to be condescending, but just to explain for especially American audiences why you may not have the same level of attention from servers in the UK and wider Europe. So if you visit, just sit back, relax and enjoy the time spent with friends and family!

  4. Basically Keith goes to every tourist trap, doesn’t go anywhere decent and collects his YouTube money!

  5. As a native Londoner I can say that "bit of blue sky" is the rarest treat you could have got while over here 😂

  6. Southwark is "SUTH-uck" LOL

Love this so much as an American living in England! Glad you enjoyed your visit. Next time, gotta get you to some of the different parts of the UK. London has its charms but Britain is a beautiful island from stem to stern and there's so much to explore!

  7. Came here to slander you for the thumbnail and see others beet me to it. It might seem flippant or over the top but given Britain’s history of oppression in ireland and a history of taking credit for irish success and culture we’re very defensive of it

  8. Seriously, the only people who actually go to Borough Market are tourists and people making content for their YouTube and TikTok channels. Why do you think its so bloody expensive? Its like doing your weekly food shopping in Harrods 😅😅

  9. Is it part of American culture to go to other countries, make videos telling people all the wrong information about said country, be very culturally insensitive, complain things arent like America and only eat at tourist spots?
    Also, do the accent badly…..

  10. Although I do agree with pretty much all of these on the negative side comments. I do think it’s important to make clear this is still an excellent video Kieth. If someone from London came to do a similar video in your home town there would be so many similar complaints. England and the states are always compared to have pretty similar cultures but no two countries have the same expectation for things ESPECIALLY when it comes to hospitality. I’m not surprised we mainly saw tourist spots, They are quite literally tourists! If you ever make it back out here, it would be amazing if you could ask your uk audience for our own recs. Also if it could be possible to adventure outside of London, I think you’d have the best time. Always a pleasure watching either way xxx

  11. You honestly sound like you`re having a miserable time all over, and I`m fairly certain you cannot blame the venues; definitely not the location. This is the first time I`ve stopped before half way through because of what seems like pissy, disinterested and unfair attitude on your part. A bit heavy on the arrogance in this episode for my tastes.

  12. People who find themselves hilarious tend not to be funny at all…..Keith is one of them….personality of a toilet brush

  13. Dishoom does a really great breakfast as well. Their Naan breakfast rolls are insanely good and their granola is very popular.
