They’ve actually been making plastic food displays outside of restaurants for decades and it’s really cool to see, you can even visit the original store that makes them in Tokyo
I don’t know what it is about miniatures, but I love it. I love the creativity with using scrap materials of things you’d normally throw out to paint/design into something small and cute.
I’d love to get into it, but I already have enough rabbit hole crafts that I’ve fell into, gathering all the materials needed and starting a few projects to never finish because I go overboard and overwhelm myself getting into it all. Oil painting, digital art, alcohol markers, woodworking, sewing (this one I still do as it’s a skill worth having in this economy lol), nail design/art, building a PC and gaming (okay I still do this one, but I go overboard with making mods for games), home interior design with DIY decor and painting, crocheting … I get all the supplies needed and just go all in for a good 6-7 months then get tired.
Miniatures are the one I’ve been wanting so badly to get into, but I’ve had to control myself lol, because I don’t know what the fck I would do with all the stuff I’d make. At least with prior crafts, I can use them after. I’ve got oil painting hanging on my walls, clothing I’ve mad, woodworking projects I’ve done that serve function in my home … but miniatures? What do I do with all that stuff if you don’t have a market already for it to turn into profit? It would be tiny things all over the house taking up space … and it overwhelms me thinking about it even though I want to do it, but I’m really having to control myself here.
Japan had always done this with their food menu displays for decades. The realistic food. The problem with hers is that they have laws where the image advertised must match the actual food size.

Der Tatortreiniger with Bjarne Mädel the Episode "Über den Wolken"
They should just put these in regular menus too. That would be cool
these are so cute
Tomato looks too real.
It’s a practice in Japan to show physical replicas of food in the display when you go to restaurants
Ужасные руки, с ранами и… возможно..с грибком. Прямой контакт с изделием без перчаток
Я видела такие большие на стене ресторана, тоже вречатлило
$400 or 400 yen?
This is common for restaurants in Japan. It's an own profession and the food is displayed in windows outside.
Good for her!
I love it
Omg what are her socials?

She wears no gloves… iiiieeeiwwww
Ok that menu idea is awesome .
but like why??
But why do I love this so much?
Tiny food cooking shows are so relaxing These are Beautiful
The Japan display menus were easily my favorite quirk of a country. It makes it so easy to tell if you want to eat there before you even go in!
The world is nuts.
"Is your mouth tiny and small? Why don't you come to Lil' Bits"

Gross, the blood wound on the thumb
Nah man, this is for the stupidly rich people. Make food as TINY as possible and charge 500 dollars for the sandwich.
She’s filling all the temu orders

Very how do you say Gourmet ❤❤❤❤❤
It's funny we've come full circle. These were the thing in the days at Denny's
Wow this is an artist
$400 for a hyper realistic miniature menu board is actually a pretty good price.
That is dope
Beautiful but not very filling.
Lol she did not come up with this. This has been a thing for years. Her art is cute though.
That's been going on in the East for at least 15 years! Good grief
In Japan every store had fake versions of their dishes on displays
Erm why? Whats the point? 😂 geez
This woman came up with a genius idea ❌
This woman copied a genius idea ✅
so what do you do with them?
And I thought u could really eat them at first before the explanation came 😂
The way I would steal such menu..😄
Japan loves fake food replicas for some reason
They will eat them in America then sue you
If it’s too much for everyone’s simple brain. Just don’t invest in it. Buy simple paper adverts.
This clearly took time and effort. They’re meticulous in the details.
So yeah
It’s 400
Wouldn’t be surprised if more the bigger the menu.
this is how grocery store food in the USA is now made……..
No one’s buying that shyt for 400
