I said this last time when you bake ham with pineapple it should be canned only. Fresh pineapple has a enzyme in it called bromelain. It can turn your meat to mush. It takes like a mouth full of disgusting fat and not a good tasting fat lol. Canned pineapple doesn't contain this enzyme because it has went through the process of being canned. Which high heat is used in the process of canning them and it kills the bromelain enzyme. My daughter bought a very expensive ham and used fresh pineapple which I knew wasn't a good idea but I forgot why lol. Until I tasted it and was so grossed out by the texture and taste it almost ended badly 🤢. It was so bad. Well everyone learned a lesson that day. We ate steaks from Waffle House because we couldn't find anything else meat wise at such a short notice lol. Just wanted to let everyone know it's not a good idea.
