  1. All the places looked excellent, and I'm a little jealous. Great video!⬅
On your next trip to Texas, try out some West Texas BBQ in Abilene. When I went to college there, my favorite spot was Joe Allen's Pit BBQ. All the food was excellent. One element which made Abilene BBQ different than most places I've been was the BBQ sauce. It wasn't served cold in a squeeze bottle. Instead, it is kept warm in large cafeteria pans, and they ladle it on as you go through the line.

  2. You're fighting your format when you eat at all these spots in one day. How can you judge when you're stuffed by your 3rd restaurant. Once you're that full, the last spots never really had a fair shot.

  3. I almost feel bad for people from places like Kansas City or North Carolina. They always think they have the best BBQ. They don't. It's not even close. It's not close. We have gas stations that blow those entire states out of the water.

  4. These places are smart rolling out the red carpet for youtubers that have some reach. They pay for one tray of Cue, and they get advertisment and become the dreams of so many. Nothing beats TX Monthly, but 647K subscribers isn't bad.

  5. My Jiujitsu gym is across the street from Interstellar Barbecue and sometimes we Roll with the doors open and it’s torture 😅

  6. Intersteller is the best. I used to go there before they were "famous". Great job, War Dog!!!

  7. Wow that old guy is wearing a Rush Counterparts hat and an original GUP T-shirt. You should try Hill Country Barbecue in Manhattan

  8. Glad you got to visit some good Texas barbecue places. There are good BBQ places in Dallas, Fort Worth, and other cities, but Austin is where the competition is the most fierce.
