I Took My Mom to Try Filipino Food for the FIRST TIME in Miami πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ (NOT What She Expected)

I Took My Mom to Try Filipino Food for the FIRST TIME in Miami πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ (Not What She Expected). Today we took Rob’s mom to try Filipino food for the very first time at a Filipino buffet in Miami… and let’s just say some of these dishes caught her completely off guard πŸ˜… From lumpia and pancit to adobo and lechon kawali, we had to see what she actually thought.

What made this even crazier is that this spot exists because of the Filipino community working on cruise ships that pass through Miami, so this is as real as it gets.

Watch till the end to see her favorite (and least favorite) Filipino dish πŸ‘€

  1. What do you guys think? Should my mom fly to the Philippines soon? πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ Where should we take her first? πŸ‘‡

  2. Sorry big pet peave of mine when foreigners pronounce sisig as β€œsig sig”. It’s pronounced β€œsee sig”. Also just wanted to correct jomara,, pancit is actually fried noodles. Its stir fried noodles

  3. Sorry to say this but your Mom is too young and beautiful to be called Mom or mommy.. Your Mom looks like Diana Meneses. A Brazilian actress in the Philippines…❀❀❀

  4. There are several types of singing (Pork Sinigang, Shrimp, Fish(Usually Bangus) & Beef) This is the only Gang that is not Dangerous and make your life better. Sini GANG!

  6. I miss miami especially in brickell area. i live and work for almost 2 years before going back to the philippines.. not a lot of filipino restaurant in miami area

  7. That restaurant in downtown Miami caters more on Filipino cruise ship workers when they’re docked. Good inexpensive/comfort food and best staff (They even gave us free, extra food-to-go!) But the better Filipino restaurants in Florida, in my opinion, are in Orlando and Jacksonville.

  8. Hi, how does it feel being back in the states after traveling for so long especially from the Philippines? I know for me it’s always different, lol. But there is so much to do when you go back to the Philippines especially with your mom like going island hoping in Palawan to just checking out Boracay… or even when it’s just the two of you β€” going to vigan city and staying local in Manila checking out the aquarium or star city (amusement park) or even Santa Rosa City, Laguna Province where another amusement park is called enchanted kingdom. Going to cebu to try the lechon as they say it’s the best. Or Bicol where Bicol express comes from. It’s endless for this is the reason they say it’s fun in the Philippines. And I’m glad your mom enjoys the food and I hope she gets to travel there when you are back. I’m surprised tho with your in-law being Filipino and you guys haven’t really had the food before.
