I’m not gonna pretend that this style of cuisine is for everybody…
but I do think we’ve stopped appreciating what it actually takes to do it properly.
Orrery’s been part of Marylebone since 1997, but this new chapter is being led by @pierreminotti and the restaurant’s whole point is clear: Escoffier’s principles with British seasonal ingredients
sitting in a proper chair with a white tablecloth, receiving expert service and actually slowing down and taking my time over food like this
it felt like a reset.
Because this isn’t about speed, or trends, or chasing the next thing
it’s about craft, and doing things properly.
