I came to Romania expecting good food…
But I genuinely did NOT expect this.
From flavours to textures and some very unexpected moments, Romanian food turned out to be far more surprising than I imagined.
But what truly stood out was not just the food. It was the incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous people I met along the way. Because in the end food is nothing without people.

this guy knows NOTHING about romania, he got so many things wrong… nobody eats only 1 mici in a serving, their name is literally in plural. romania is not an "old communist country" and the buildings shown are definitely not abandoned. Mici are just meat and have no cheese in them. vegan sarmale are horrible and the only people who eat them are fasting christians
