Would love to see a series on who has the best guacamole n property. Between Rosa Mexicano, Frontera, Summer House, etc. There are so many to choose from, but who reigns supreme?
The last time I went to Rainforest Cafe at AK, the server disappeared halfway through the meal after we got our app but before the entrees. After almost 30 minutes without the server, we had to ask another server for help. And they reluctantly did. It was a disaster. Never plan on going back and I have been to several in different cities throughout the years.
That being said, restaurants can absolutely be redeemed. I did a redemption tour in January and wound up really enjoying Sci Fi Dine In and Tony's this time around, so much so that I went back to Sci Fi Dine In in March and plan to go again next month.
Okay, call me weird (or maybe I'm just hungry), but the pizza looked, as Molly and Alan say, "…fine." That being said, would I eat pizza at a theme park? Probably not, especially when there's a bunch of other more interesting stuff to eat! However, I'm with Molly; if I were with folks who needed more familiar food, then I'd be okay with it.
I think the Rainforest Cafe would be a one-and-done for me. Tracy Tree scared me. 0_0
I could not take my hubs here, though. As someone who lives with ADHD, he would shut down and not say a word through the whole meal. Although he would absolutely have said yes to RFC when my son was little. Kiddo would have LOVED it. The constant yelling VOOOOOOLCAAAANNOOOO would have done me in! Am I anti-fun? No, just old XD
I love this series! Would be curious about the universal parks, especially the toon lagoon restaurants!

I love the Rainforest's breakfast pizza. Thats my favorite breakfast to eat at A.K.

I'd be a horrible food critic. I've never had a bad restaurant experience and find all the food delicious.
Rainforest stays on my list for nostalgia. Not good. But chimi- cha-chas are good

Pizza fair : never had it but I do think combined tomato soup with the pasta could be better than seperate and like Molly rip dinosaurs my favorite ak ride

I have to give a shout to Alan’s theme park fashion darlingggg. He always wears the understated but still “park” type vibes! Love that! I mean I’ll wear a full on sparkly ear or t-shirt here and there but I love his more understated “I’m huge theme park fan” clothing.
Alan being overstimulated in Rainforest cafe is me, at any restaurant where the wait staff yells everything 😅😅
ngl I like puffy pizza but I have to be in a MOOD for it and my 13 year old is like "mom you are gross" he is ashamed to be seen with me as he orders a chicken salad…
I plan on going to the ride in Galveston next month
Love the rain forest. It’s a great place to stop on your way out of AK for a beer & appetizer.
