I like liver and onions that have been a bit charred on the outside but the liver is still pink inside. It was the gravy that looked disturbing to me. It looked like instant gravy. No thanks.
A restaurant in my town was featured on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. It was season 1 episode 3 – The Mixing Bowl. I went to the restaurant after the show was filmed and I remember my family hated it. The restaurant was very empty. They also had a picture of all the staff and Gordon displayed on the window. Unfortunately, The Mixing Bowl did close.
So let me get this straight. He goes into restaurants just to see if they would give him a bad time or poor service/ food yet he brings in a a big DLSR camera…of course they are going to give him top quality food and service they know they are being filmed/ judged. This dude needs META glasses to conceal what his filming to give a more authentic outcome…
Don’t forget that some of the restaurants that closed ended up closing due to the owners retiring or just moving on. The twins from the original show is an example
I think the biggest issue is the people. The food and decor can change but if the people don’t want to change and fix their bad habits, the restaurant will most likely fail. And a lot of people go right back to being who they were when Gordon leaves which is why I think so many places fail anyway. Just goes to show, if you’re not willing to change, no matter how much someone tries to helps you, you’re bound to fail.
My worlds are colliding! My pandemic watchlist is being reckoned with my post-pandemic watchlist😂 Maybe you should stay in all the Hotel Hell hotels next and try their breakfast or whatever foods option they offer
They just played the episode with the restaurant here in Colorado with the drive thru and the tweeker chef on Food Network. Even if they're still open – which I doubt – you couldn't pay me to go there. If she'd make those kinds of choices once, I don't trust her not to do it again.
On your comment about chime they are great unless you have a dispute. Since they are not the bank they forward dispute information. I disputed stuff forva year after 11 month stride email me what was dispute
Fyi Gordon Ramsey Isn’t English:!! Also only About 1% of ppl like Liver and 🧅 onions. The Liver produces Bile and Liver tastes metallic so its ready only eaten if u have that acquired taste. 👅 the rest of us would 😮 spilt it out. The review of that restaurants food is so not fair. Btw Ive watched all ur vids and loves them all. 🎉
I wouldn't want to go to any of the restaurant that is on that show. Especially the ones that had some of the foulest health violations. Even if they changed on the show. Bad habits are hard to break.

Good video. You're brave to eat liver and onions.
Every time I see the Tesla, I think "yeah, he would drive a Tesla." Not a great look, but he seems like a "Tesla person."
Liver and onions with powdered gravy and sysco brand fried okra. No thanks
New Dylan video lessgo!
Pretty sure a 30% success rate is pretty awesome considering the state both food and financial most were in when he got there.
Gordon fake content 😅.
Your mix of history, food reviews, and positive attitude hits all my serotonin receptors 😄 appreciate your hard work!

Ordering liver and onions at the first place made no sense, just saying. Critically think

The Lido menu looks like it was chewed by rats😨
Then why try the liver?

Liver and onions does not have gravy. The gravy is probably what's salty.
RIP BC MacDonalds in Chelan
The first place gave you a lot of food for $13. Maybe I’m just overpaying.
I'm always impressed by how you fly from one side of the country to the other for videos. Thanks for making the trips!
Simmer down yea that gravy looks looks store bought.. and I don’t even seee the dishes Gordon did?

Gordon absolutely does not save the day
Piss filter ahh thumbnail
Gordon himself said if the menus don’t have pics of food in it, do NOT order from there!
I like Jim
Fairly new subscriber here. Artichoke hearts? Oh yeah. Brings back memories of my restaurant days. It's a good thing you're naturally slim.😊
