Does Miami have the best Cuban food in the US?
Miami is home to one of the largest Cuban populations outside of Cuba so I had to ask around for the best Cuban food in Miami. The overwhelming answer was Islas Canarias, especially for their croquetas which might honestly be the best I’ve ever had. This place has been around since the 70s and is known locally for some of the top croquetas in the city, even winning awards for them. I loved it, but now I’m curious… is this actually the best in the country or is there even better out there?

Jesus loves you 💙🩵🧡🩷🤍💜💚💛❤️💖
The Cuban food is good there but I live for the Peruvian
The Cuban sandwich was actually invented in Tampa, we've got some incredible ones here.
👍🍴☀️
bread hype.
What about Haitian food 👀
If I ever see Kaitlyn coming into a restaurant I own ima make sure she gets her complimentary bread. Sure fire way to win her over immediately 😂 🥖
Yuca frita is always better!!!😂❤ Love u videos
You need to go to a Cuban bakery Sanguich for an upscale Cuban sandwich/croqueta experience. But if you want something real local go to Lucerne bakery on Coral way. The pastelitos and croquetas are my fave and I have been going there since I was a kid. All the Cuban workers and families go there. I have to stop every time I go to the airport to pick stuff up for my Cuban mom.
Um where else would have the best Cuban food? Miami’s where all the Cubans are – probably better Cuban food than Cuba. And there’s new spots popping up now that the old ones are tourist traps. Islas does have excellent croquetas (had them at our wedding), one of the few I’ve had that include green onion. But quality at Versailles, La Carreta, and Sergio’s has gone down considerably compared to 10-20 years ago. Ask any real Cuban and they’ll tell you the best new spots. Also always gotta get jugo de maracuya or at least some type of fresh juice when you go to a real Cuban spot. Appreciate the representation, but what a silly question! Of course Miami has the best Cuban food!
omG, y'all insane for wearing white
tees while eating all those sauces
and black beans. which, by the way,
the bean pour over rice was epic🤩
Cuban food is so yummy ànd hearty.
I love boiled yuca with the mojito sauce on top.
It’s funny bc I grew up eating cuban food every day of my life so I learned to cook everything but Cuban food just to have some nice diversity in my stomach.
But now I cook really bomb cuban food as well.
Man I need this meal so bad rn I would clean the plate
Try the crab croquettes at Columbia in ybor or Sarasota 😍
Next time you visit your folks, lmk! There’s a really cool place in Ellenton
You have the worst voice and accent Ive ever heard. I would probably kick you out of an event if you showed up 😭
Haitian food is also a must as well
Noooo go to “little Havana” in north Miami. The most traditional Cuban restaurant in Miami. From a Cuban 😂🫶
ok but have you ever had a tostón
Cubans never over charge for their food. Cannot say that about any other country lol
So cheap, awesome 🤩☝️
I feel like she's fake eating. Like some of it is being tested but there is good editing…a lot of forks coming from the mouth with the odd full one going in, fake chewing..
Love isla Canarias
You need to go to Tinta y Cafe for croquettas. They suuuuuuuuck at Islas Canarias!
Oh my, those beans looked amazing! I’d be happy with a bowl of rice and their black beans, and some kind of chicken . A few of those tasty looking croquetas and I’d be happy. :))
Cuban food is unmatched. I live in CO now and I miss the FL cuban food soooo much
