  2. of course looked good, but didnt seem like a million dollar gourmet meal… more like a homecooked indian dinner. super homey, like "mom's cooking"

  3. If you mentioned your YouTube channel, it'd probably be easier to get someone because then they could see that you're not a bad guy.

  4. I love this as a former New Yorker who works in advertising…and as an Indian, i love byriani! Nice episode

  6. โคgreat video bro

๐Ÿ˜‚I laughed when my hasidic bros were like hell nah (I grew up hasidic and still live a somewhat religious lifestyle in a different hasidic hood not far from williamsburg known as Boro park )

    There's 2 reasons:

    (1) Obviously, Its a preety closed off community always hated cameras from the outside (media etc.) especially recently when youtubers have been using the most visibly looking jews for clicks

    But the main reason is…

    (2) Hasidic jews would never let you go into their kitchens and cook without proper supervision religious jews are very strict when it comes to food obviously all ingredients need to be kosher no bacon no shellfish etc. But it also needs to be prepared the right way there is absolutely no mixing meat and dairy religious jews have 2 separate cooking areas in their kitchens one for meat and one for dairy 2 separate ovens 2 different sets of dishes there is no mixing pots utensils or even using the dairy sink to wash produce when cooking meat based dishes and all produce need to be insect free (No fresh strawberries which are very hard to inspect for insects , Lettuce and herbs are sold in bags in local supermarkets they are greenhouse grown triple washed and inspected to ensure no insects remain…) Even the sinks in the kitchen have a filter installed to ensure the water doesn't have micro insects in em…
Alots of religious jews would also only eat "bishul yisroel" which translates to "food cooked by a jew" in some kosher restaurants a jewish worker would turn on the flame or oven used to cook which would be sufficient to be considered as "bishul yisroel" There are many more rules hence why they wouldn't allow someone to cook for them or use their kitchens without the knowledge of kosher dietary laws and supervision to ensure those strict rules aren't accidentally violated so even if a chill hasidic guy would be open to the cameras he would be hesitant about the cooking part

  7. Funny scene in the Hasidic Community. They eat Kosher, guy so they couldn't eat your food or probably let you in their kitchen because it might become unclean and then it would be a huge job to make it religiously clean again- Kosher.

  8. Sheโ€™s the type of millionaire that God wonโ€™t hesitate to pour more blessings to her โค Sheโ€™s down to earth and you can see in her eyes how genuine she is โค

  9. "It just takes knocking on a door"…
says he after knocking on doors for hours and about to quit ๐Ÿ˜€
That woman was the exception, not the rule – staying true to your roots after making it rich is hard.
Most are desperate to blend in and erase who they used to be.

  10. This woman is a fucking treasure. If you're reading this, you go, lady!!!! "Saying yes leads to more opportunities" <3 what a breath of fresh air you are

  11. If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a food youtuber collab with a professional chef to make biryani in someone else's home, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

  12. I'm a multi-millionaire, but keep in mind, I am poor compared to this person.. to own or rent a place like this in that area

  13. NYC always amazes me the amount of people with 10, 20, 50 plus million.. Single digit millionaires are poor in that city.

  14. when she said it was a 7m apartment i thought she was joking just shows New york prices are madness for what you actually get.

  15. As a chef I would love someone else to cook for me for once. I'm sick of eating instant noodles. These people are so miserable.
