A Ternus + Craig combo could be something truly special. charismatic software products guy with a CEO hardware products guy. The great thing is that they’re both around the same age, with Ternus being 6 years younger.
You don’t quite seem to realise that Cook is moving up, he isn’t leaving Apple, at all. He moves up to executive chairman, which is the highest position inside Apple, Turnus will be reporting to him.
Im hoping a hardware guy as CEO will force the software teams to step up their game and maximize the performance. macOS on iPads 🤞

Its about time. While Tim kept the company afloat I feel anything Apple has stagnated and played it way too safe. Im hoping John will be able to try new things and bring Innovation back to Apple, especially because of his hardware background
I’m going to miss Tim Cook. Whenever I needed an apple product it was always available and with the highest specs. Gone were the days of new hardware with old guts or random pricing and availability. It will, be nice to see more product innovation. I sure hope Jonny Apple doesn’t lean into liquid glass!

Let’s face it Tim Cook last major products were a bust like Apple Vision, Apple AI. Tim was a great CEO and grew Apple’s cash flow etc. But in terms of innovations not so much. He probably waited for Apple Neo and a win and also for Apple to turn 50. Hopefully with John Ternus we will get more innovations not just simple upgrades. More can be done with Apple TV, Apple HomePod. iPad, iPhone and even Apple Watch have ran into a bit of a wall and not major changes. 🐬
🐬 I think Ternis will be good for Apple – If the MacBook Neo is any indicator, this will be an excellent transition.
