I still think you need to swing through Royal and eat at Patty's Down The Road. It's another little hole-in-the-wall place, but they've got really good food.

Whether or not its a good date spot really depends on the girl. Best meatball sandwich I ever had came out of a little hole in the wall we refer to as a "greasy spoon" where you don't know just how clean the cutlery will be, but the food will be excellent. I married the man that took me on that date, and we've been together 23 years. 😂

You should try stopping in at Hugo's in fayetteville, its a very "fayetteville" establishment. Solid burgers, wonderful folks and very much a staple stop in town, since 1977. If you do, say hey to Ethan for me.

To answer your earlier question, I think that lovely restaurant would be a cozy date spot.
Try to understand that it would be a great place for teens to date, but adults would go to more sedate places. Overall, not a bad place to take your girl.

Should’ve also gone to The Burger Forge in Van Buren (just across the river). It’s owned by a guy from Dundee, Scotland! Amazing burgers!

Ed Walkers reminds me of a regional Oklahoma restaurant, Boomarang Diner. You have to try it out when you make it to Oklahoma! The decor and "the King" (Elvis) will look so familiar.
My husband and I often go to a very, very similar diner in Oklahoma called "Boomarang" – there are several locations around Central and eastern Oklahoma. So for us, it's a date night place!
