I still think you need to swing through Royal and eat at Patty's Down The Road. It's another little hole-in-the-wall place, but they've got really good food.
Whether or not its a good date spot really depends on the girl. Best meatball sandwich I ever had came out of a little hole in the wall we refer to as a "greasy spoon" where you don't know just how clean the cutlery will be, but the food will be excellent. I married the man that took me on that date, and we've been together 23 years. π
You should try stopping in at Hugo's in fayetteville, its a very "fayetteville" establishment. Solid burgers, wonderful folks and very much a staple stop in town, since 1977. If you do, say hey to Ethan for me.
Happy belated birthday to you, Jase. I hope you have a wonderful time in Arkansas. It's great to see the edits with Josh's commentary. To answer your earlier question, I think that lovely restaurant would be a cozy date spot.
Try to understand that it would be a great place for teens to date, but adults would go to more sedate places. Overall, not a bad place to take your girl.
Ed Walkers reminds me of a regional Oklahoma restaurant, Boomarang Diner. You have to try it out when you make it to Oklahoma! The decor and "the King" (Elvis) will look so familiar.
My husband and I often go to a very, very similar diner in Oklahoma called "Boomarang" – there are several locations around Central and eastern Oklahoma. So for us, it's a date night place!

What is the name of your channel on Facebook? There is a few different ones. Don't want to follow the wrong one.
This is definitely a 1950s diner date spot. The Coca-Cola machines say it all.

Yes, sure itβs a great date spot.
Happy birthday!! So glad you are exploring Arkansas. Itβs truly a beautiful place?
If you make it north, try Wrights BBQ in Johnson, or Nealβs in Springdale, you wonβt be disappointed!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!!! Make sure you head north to Lanberts! Be ready, go hungry! Heads up!!! Throwed rolls!
Don't expect the same Texas Toothpicks in Texas. Ours are fried jalapeΓ±o strips!

You hit the jackpot in Ft Smith Arkansas at Edβs.

Happy Birthday Jase. Hope it's a great day! It would be a great date spot.
Shouldβve also gone to The Burger Forge in Van Buren (just across the river). Itβs owned by a guy from Dundee, Scotland! Amazing burgers!
Grab a milkshake to wash it all down.
So happy you are having fun over here again!
Happy Belated Birthday π
So glad you are home in Arkansas β€.

Itβs been 26 years since I have been there. Wow canβt believe itβs still there.
Happy Birthday Jase. The dip with your roast beef sandwich is AuJus (which is the natural juices from the roast beef).
It would be a fun date, but the gentleman should sit on the outside of the booth, leaving the girl inside.
You should find a place called the purple onion in Arkansas and try the peanut butter and jelly burger
I love there hamburger, they use fresh beef for the area cows π
