Today I went on a local food tour in Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷 to experience what people actually eat day to day, away from tourist restaurants.
I spent the day exploring different parts of Istanbul, trying a range of traditional foods, local meals, and everyday dishes you find across the city. From quick bites to unique specialties, this is what eating like a local in Istanbul really looks like.
One of the biggest surprises was trying something I never expected… chicken as a dessert. It sounded strange at first, but it completely changed my opinion once I tried it.
