Not much to say. I stopped by Charleys Cheesesteaks when I was in Cleveland, Ohio and had hands down the WORST sandwich of my life. If this were just some random food cart or no-name restaurant that’d be one thing. But this is a global chain with almost a thousand locations! For food like this at an established chain? Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!

The best thing this restaurant offered was A-Ha's "Take on Me" playing on the radio in the background. The food is crap. Even if it's a glorified "slider" at $7 you still need a semblance of quality for that price.

I've had Charleys over here in the West Coast. Its absolute trash. I make a better homemade cheesteak using ribeye slices, baguette bread (sorry, I can't find hoagie rolls here!), and provolone cheese (and of course some grilled onions and bell peppers).

I have not seen the Charlie cheesesteak chain restaurants in New York City. I'm happy about that. Yeah that sandwich looks pretty bad.Thank you UA for the heads up.

I went to charlys in austin, it had just opened near me. Holy crap, what a terrible sandwhich lol. My bread was stale and hard too, such trash operation lol
I remember when Ponderosa Steak House was amazing back in the 1970's and early 1980's. They went downhill for years after that, and then one day in the 1990's my wife and I went there for dinner and we got Gray Steaks. They looked boiled. Gray and Boiled. We walked out and never went back.
Maybe that is the way they like it in 'cleveland'. That sandwich does not looks great but it is not bad. It is what we call 'una bala fria'(a food to take on the run). 😂😂😂
