What shocked you the most in this video? The price or the food? 👇
That red spice isn’t blood lol, it’s just chile sauce, and the meat is cooked 😁. Also, I think you might be expecting all Ethiopians to understand English, which isn’t true for most people. She was saying “yes, yes” to your questions, but it didn’t seem like she fully understood what you were saying. If you want to try the raw meat delicacy, you can find good spots in Kazanchis or Semit, I’d especially recommend Yonas chercher
For dinner go to Totot Traditional Restaurant you’ll find many traditional foods, traditional drinks, and traditional dance there ,It’s not very far from your guest house
Ethiopian food is not the same north south east west everywhere diffrent
You must visit totot
1. Friendship park (go before 6:30pm) hide camera when entering this place stop filming after security start filming
2. Unity Park
3. Adwa Museum
4. ENTOTO park
Food traditional
1. Totot Cultural
2. Kategna
3. Yilma butchery
Please use Google translate or Gemini A.I to translate for you live. Don't assume everyone speaks english fluently
There is an elevator in the lobby, as soon as you enter the building when you go to Marcus next time. People commented good selection for Ethiopians authentic food options, but you can find all kind of food selection’s too on any mini cafe area anywhere in the streets of bole too. The bread served with “amaze” just a chilli spicy powder not blood 😂 Enjoy your time!
You may not like 'Enjera', it is not to everyone's test, because it is sour & made of fermented 'Teff flour'.
You don't have to eat it to please people.
You can order bread or rice on the side with your meals.
This guy did not know how to spaghetti’s with fork.why you order to much food buddy?it is a chilly spice it is to hot for you. If you did not eat in your country Nigeria.
Good job brother keep going.
You could have asked at the reception on the ground floor for lift service to chef Marcus's restaurant.
It is not cheap, though.
Because the waitress does not speak English, she could not tell you that the meat stew is cooked, it is not raw,
and the red sauce is chilli sauce, not blood.
This dish is not blood, but a type of chili called owasi.
Nooooo don't say blood .what do you mean ? it is Ethiopia ,don't confise your self .they red souce is made from hot red chilli but not blood.and the meat is not raw meat it is cooked.
blood lol that was funny ,you would definitely would have spent that 100 on markus restaurant for sure ,i recommend you addis ababa restaurant near piassa they have great service and best authenticity since its the oldest restaurant opened for royality
Ethiopian food is amazing the meat combo is great even the vegeterian combo is amazing but make sure you need some one can eat with you combo is alot for one person
my God this was disappointing, please talk to someone young who speaks English properly and knows the city, plan the trip before leaving, these are not Ethiopian food🤣 i recommend totot, yod abssynia. much better experience, especially at night
plan your trips ahead, you might find it difficult to meet people who speak English well
For Breakfast; Chachabsa, Fetta,Full…
For Lunch; Tibs,Shekla Tibs, Kitfo, goredgored…
For vegetarians; Beye ayenet, pasta be atekilt …
Hotel and restaurant;Yonas cher cher Fikre kunspagna, Totot…..
To be honest, 2000 birr is is not much for some people but for the waitress who served you, it could be half of her monthly wages.
welcome to Ethiopia bro
Bro take care the people are so fake rhey act like as if they like black people
Hi bro tray Shekla beef tibs , beyaynet(vegi combo), Doro wot , got meat ribs , ketifo . You don't have to eat raw kettfo you can tell them to cook it for you . BTW you went to the most expensive restaurant in Ethiopia Marcus Addis .
You shouldn’t have to go far; there is a restaurant named KATEGNA. It’s very popular, especially for traditional food. They have a few branches and one of their branches is located in Bole
All that food only 2000 birr 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Try steak (different kinds of steaks), Kitfo and Doro wot…..
It's not raw meat
Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The meat wast raw. It's a typical wot (sauce)❤
Try Kitfo Say Kitfo
Kitfo isn't a good recommendation for tourists "Tibs" is..for tourists get them a combination of meat or veggies then see which they like the most and get a review for it and see what happens…
there is a place that USD100 can buy only one dish.visit the restaurant on the highest building 48th floor
the first thing she brought with bread is mixed pepper as a starter. may you need typical ethiopian traditional food, drink and dance, go to Totot or Yod Abyssinia traditional restaurants
My bro don’t miss to visiting Gondar city / African Camelot
