  1. My special ed granddaughter thinks this is grandpa. However grandpa went to heaven in 2018. Yesterday was her 8th bday & I made her the easy strawberry gooey dessert. She loved it. πŸŽ‰ I Have a pork roast knocking on the freezer door wanting to come out.

Guess grandpa's making dinner tomorrow. πŸ˜‚

  3. Isnt it crazy how much food takes us back to memories.😊 My family lost my mom unexpectedly last week at only 66, Im 42 and something Ive been thinking about a lot is the food she makes that shes really never taught me how to make. I have all her recipes like for her chilli for instance. My brother and I want to dig em out and take a crack at making some of her recipes…I have a feeling it wont be the same though😒

  4. This was great! Ran out and bought everything needed, followed recipe exactly, but next time I’ll look for similar flowered apron. Maybe get a cat, too.

  5. Make Cuban Sandwiches with the pork. Get some good rolls, Swiss cheese, sliced deli ham & pickle slices. Mix some mayo & yellow mustard together. Slice the rolls in half. Spread the mayo/mustard mix on both sides. Layer on the carnitas, ham, cheese, pickles onto the rolls. Heat up a skillet & melt butter place the sandwich in the pan & place the Dutch oven on the sandwich to flatten the sandwich. Let it crisp for 4 to 5 minutes then flip the sandwich to crisp up the other side. Ummm good!

  6. Ok,I'll bring the beer,limes,salt,and homemade tortillas,fresh shreaded queso quesadilla,and homemade pico de gallo..lets have a party ! Oh,and I keep frijoles a la hoya in my pockets !

  7. Just don’t buy ur pork from America unless it is from a small farm…check out how many countries have banned American pork.

  8. What do you do for a living? I was a dentist assistant in San Antonio. And I was friends with a woman who had moved to San Antonio from Las Vargas. And I have never been anywhere traveling because we are poor and live paycheck paycheck. Like millions of other people. But I find it fascinating that you are also from Las Vegas, and I was just wondering what your profession was .πŸ˜πŸ˜ƒπŸ€©
