  1. Our family has enjoyed Garden Grill, but its a much better value for breakfast. We reserve Garden Grill for before EPCOT opens and it gets rid of thay feeling of being on display and the breakfast food was good and the price is cheaper. You also get to skip rope drop if you time it right and just walk onto the front of items you may want to see in that part of park. A good way to get Soarin done before anyone even makes it there. Characters also spent a ton of time at our table for breakfast.

  2. WAIT… so the NAIL IN THE COFFIN FOR A RESTAURANT is a MILKSHAKE!?!?!? Lmao, cmon!

  3. My least favorites are coral reef (awful), garden grill ( nothing I would have chosen to eat), be our guest (expensive and mediocre) and I know people love it but the liberty tree tavern (not my choice of food).

  4. Loved this show. I appreciate keeping it real and balanced and not rah rah for every place.great show. My controversial picks are Sanaa and Le Cellier. Pinocchio Haus for the QS. .

  5. I only ate at Prime Time once as a kid, but that PB&J shake left such an impression on me, I’d still go to the bar and order one to go. It’s been a few years since I did that though, so kinda bummed the quality went down on it! I’ll give it a try next visit though.

  6. Scifi Diner food is awful and overpriced. im so disappointed everytime we go, we had 6people WITH a rez and still didnt get a car. I really enjoy toledo, wine bar george (AND the walk up bar) frontera cocina, and the buffet at Germany pavilion.
I gotta say tho, i do love the french onion soup at chefs de france 😅

  7. Rhino: We have been going to California Grill several times a year for over thirty years. We have always opted for the first sitting so that we had our choice of table and view. I can understand your aversion to prix fixe; for years I would order double appetizers for my dinner. But the selections on the prix fixe menu have always been of the highest quality … and an off menu sorbet is always available for dessert.

  8. My family and I are going on our yearly trip in three weeks. We are eating at our usual places at the parks, and at Art smiths in Disney spring along with whispering canyon. I am still upset and disappointed that be our guest, is not serving their old quick service meal for lunch. This has been a very negative change that I wish would be reversed. I agree about coral reef . We have not eaten there for years for a reason.

  9. LOVED this video. These types of videos are always so helpful when planning a trip. I would love to see one with your favorite and least favorite resorts.

  10. Breakfast is where it's at for Garden Grill! The lunch and dinner food just isn't special enough to justify the cost, but the breakfast has always hit the mark in terms of taste and quality at a much more reasonable (for Disney) price.

  11. 50’s PRIME TIME!! You guys are so right. 50s should be like Pleasantville vibes. Not obnoxious and terrible. Needs an overhaul attitudes need complete changing. Disney please take note. 😔😔😔

  12. We were fortunate to have a positive experience during our last visit to 50s Primetime Cafe.
There seems to be a recurring theme between experience and price for said experience.

  13. I agree about California Grill. For me, the pre-fixed menu has ruined this dining experience there. I feel almost forced to say I liked it because of the restaurant reputation. We had terrible service on two different occasions since it’s gone pre-fixed. I’ll add that we thoroughly enjoyed it when it was a regular menu and their brunch was one of our favorites. Now, we won’t go back unless they get rid of the pre-fixed menu.

  14. It could be better now but when we tried Akershus Royal Banquet Hall it was not good! The food was so bla and bland. It felt like a lunchroom. The princesses were amazing! But it was a one and done for us!

  15. 50s used to be cute. I remember our server teaching me, as a kid, how to set a table, he showed me how to bus a table (I got in trouble for not eating all my carrots), how to use my knife ‘properly’… but this was also 20 years ago. We went back 2 years ago and I got ‘yelled’ at for asking to change something and I remember looking at our waitress and going ok my bad and she rolled her eyes 😂ok girl

  16. Hear me out – I went to Coral Reef last summer during the AP discount (hello 40% off) and it was amazing!! Definitely recommend going with the discount in case you hate it then you’re not out a crazy amount but I think you’ll be surprised!

  17. My son and husband insist on eating at 50s Prime Time because they absolutely love the fried chicken! I also think the pot roast is pretty good. Definitely a hot take 😉

  18. A few thoughts:

Totally agree with 50's Primetime and California Grill. Between the prices, food, and atmosphere, I don't have a desire to go there. Only the California Grill lounge is still worth it.

I did like Chefs du France the last time I was there, which was a few years ago. But the menu isn't huge, so maybe see what looks good before making a reservation.

The only truly bad meals I've had were at hotel quick service locations, so I'm not going to judge them too harshly. I do think Chicken Guy is extremely overrated.

  19. The only one I've been to that you discussed was Coral Reef. It and Be Our Guest were the worst restaurant meals Ive ever had. Including non-Disney.

  20. Only have been to garden grill for breakfast and really enjoyed that experience, although I wish they would change from the cinnamon loaf to the old cinnamon roll

  21. Agree completely about Plaza – horrible experience there (food, service and atmosphere all were severely lacking) and we won't go back. I also feel the same way about 50's Prime Time. Even if the food was good (it isn't) I would avoid it because the experience is very unpleasant to me. – and I get a kick out of Whispering Canyon but this is just uncomfortable. We gave up on Coral Reef once our son was old enough to realize the food was terrible and stopped asking for it. Haven't eaten at the others you mentioned but none of them really seemed enticing to us either.

One I'd add was Sebastian's Bistro. For some reason it gets rave reviews but our food was terrible. The only thing I liked was the salad and the dessert. The steak was so chewy it was inedible and everything else was completely flavorless. For a supposedly Caribbean restaurant we couldn't believe how bland everything was – even at Disney. Also our server was hands down the worst we've ever encountered on property. Nope – never again!

  22. I've probably eaten at just about every restaurant. None of them are worth it to me. The food is fine. But it's just overpriced. I can make a pot roast for about $20 and feed the whole family. When we go we usually just eat pb&j sandwiches. Each of us might get one treat. But we're not really eating there. I think they were cool experiences but they're definitely a one and done for us.

  23. This is the exact reason why I’ve never been to Prime Time or Whispering Canyon; I can’t handle the idea of servers putting me on the spot like that. It would make me want to crawl under the table.

  24. It makes me sad that people won’t even understand the theme of Prime Time Cafe in the near future. Watching reruns was a part of growing up. It’s not anymore. I LOVED Prime Time. It’s time has come and gone. When a server spilled things she left it for us to clean. We pushed (gently) back.

  25. 50s prime time made my kid cry they straight up yelled at him for not eating it all seen he was getting upset we told them enough and kept going 🤬 he was 5 😡 and not hungry but Disney makes you pick when you eat 6 months before hand we had to go eat

  26. I don't hate the attitudes of the Prime Time servers but I get. I would say it is odd that they clash so much with the shows on the TVs and stuff, like it seems like we're supposed to be back in that era or in one of those shows but the servers don't reflect that
