From celebrity hotspots to viral grocery stores, I spent the day eating my way across Los Angeles trying some of the city’s most talked-about food spots. I visited Community Goods, Catch LA, Pink’s Hot Dogs, In-N-Out Burger, Barney’s Beanery, and Erewhon, ordering some of their most popular items and comparing them on taste, price, and atmosphere. Some completely surprised me… others didn’t. Are these LA food icons actually worth visiting, or is the hype bigger than the food? Let’s find out.

  1. 'Grass-fed vanilla collagen'

Is it free range too? I want my vanilla to roam wild and free.

  2. Harrison, welcome to LA. First of all, when you come to America and you do “take out” (take away) you do NOT have to tip. Yes, some places put a tip as an option, but you dont have to. I nearly fell off my chair when you tipped $16 at your first stop!!

  3. Very agrressive bit of info about Hayley and Justin love life we didnt all need to know haha.. Jeez.

  4. Mr. Webb, in a few of your videos you have mentioned you prefer wine. Get out of California and go to Northern Virginia for Wine. Shoot me a message and I can get you a list of really good wineries. But you have to check out Gray Ghost, Early Mountain Vineyards, and Narmada. A bit further south is Pippin Hill, which is fantastic.

Regardless, Virginia is better than California.

  5. In & Out is the most overrated fast food burger joint possible. Suffering the lines are just the first part of it. That's not the first time I've heard them be described as cardboard. It was a mildly good place before it was popular.

  6. As a europian, it is so strange that you tipped the Coffee shop. In Europe we tip only to waiter in a restaurant. And when I say restaurant I don't mean mcdonald's or any other fast food "restaurant"

  7. as someone from los angeles i wish i could show you the local spots to go to lol – the ones with no hype that is

  8. Waiting 1hr40 for a coffee is MENTAL, and I know for a fact the coffee will be swill compared to the coffee you can get at a gas station here in new zealand lol

  9. Harrison, You went to my old favorite spot in LA(Barney’s Beanery)! I’ve been going there(and bringing out of town friends) there since 1990. In the early 2000’s, I was like furniture there(maybe 3 to 4 days a week), and later I would DJ there(80’s themed music). The Bar was my hangout with my friends, and the little patio out front was the place to be, especially on Halloween and New Year’s Eve. Up until 2013, it was thee place. It’s different now I am told, but Barney’s Beanery is always a good time.

  10. Yo you cant order animal style fries then complain the fries arent crispy.. no shit they arent gonna be crispy animal style 😂

  11. It is amusing to me how you choose LA so often for your American excursions, just taking the furthest plane trip you can unless you wanted an episode on Hawaii (…I would actually like that…)

  12. would be cool to see an LA food video slightly outside of the main tourist areas. everyone who’s born and raised in LA hyped up Northgate Market mexican food but there’s tons of underrated places
