Casa Mono has made the NYT top restaurant lists multiple years in a row so I really wanted to give it another shot, but it still just doesn’t fully click for me. the food is definitely good, I just personally wouldn’t rank it in my top 100 spots in the city

Small bowl of mussels for $26 is criminal. That’s my problem with Spanish restaurants in the City: they’re insanely expensive for the quantity you get.

Goat cheese is MY least favorite cheese. To me it tastes like an arm pit; although I've never tasted one. A cheese that tastes gamey.
