I Tried the $95 Chef’s Table at DC’s Hottest New Steakhouse 🥩 Ox & Olive by Ryan Ratino

Chef’s Table at the hottest new steakhouse in DC.🥩This is Ox & Olive by Chef Ryan Ratino. 5 Michelin stars to his name and he’s not slowing down.

This was the seeeeexiest steakhouse I’ve been to.😮‍💨 A cathedral for steak lovers, a place of worship for martini drinkers.

Before I tell you some more, let me get something straight: This is NOT your regular steakhouse. And fair warning friends, this is all I’ll be talking about for the next month.

When dining somewhere for the first time, I always go for the Chef’s Table (if I can get it). There’s a la carte too, but I’ll save that for next time.😉

Here’s the rundown: $95 Chef’s Table. We had a taste of everything below, except the steak:

🌭 Appetizers
* Brioche Pull Aparts with cultured butter, marinated olives, beef & cheddar salami
* Prawn Cocktail
* Mini Brisket Hot Dogs
* Steak Tartar “Eclaire”
* Turbot with garlic & herb butter, tallow, English peas
* Beef & Onion Broth
* Stone Fruit & Beef “Ham”

🥔 Sides to your steak
* Whipped Potato
* Onion Rings
* Farm Greens

🍰 Desserts
* Carrot Cake
* Chocolate Mille Feuille
* Beef Fat Caramel

Now for the most important part: the STEAK. Their beef sommelier brings out a tray of their prized cuts. I like mine rich and fatty and I swoon at the sight of magnificent marbling, so I went for the Kuroge Jade Black Wagyu and Shimane A5. Cooked medium rare, please. They came out perfectly🔥

Know that this steakhouse will ruin every other steakhouse for you. If you don’t live in DC, sorry.
