  1. The onion cry is real. What’s funny is that if I’m wearing my contacts, no crying. If I’m wearing my glasses, I cry like I’m watch Marley and Me.

  2. It took me two hours to caramelize 3 big onions witch gave me only a cup full, but it was all worth it 🙂

  3. Woah, this is awesome. Why is your recipe for French onion dip now different than it was during COVID?? I have made your COVID version when you were locked down with 10lbs of.onions many times! Good stuff!

  4. French onion soup, French onion dip. I would deglase with beef stock and add a teaspoon of better than bullion to the onion base.

  5. Who here wants a collab with AB and Matty Matheson ? Symphonic precision meets chaotic splendor!
    Love ya AB

  6. These are getting more and more Good Eats-y and that's a wonderful thing. I still have and use those yellow AB measuring cups. Vintage stuff.

  7. 18:05 Don’t know how people will feel about this, but when I make spinach dip, I wrap the thawed spinach in a tea towel, put it in a clean fine-mesh lingerie bag, and toss it in the washing machine on the spin & drain cycle. (My own personal washing machine, not shared, if you’re wondering)

  8. The white carpet test 😂, LOVE IT. Glad you’re back with this series. Classic Alton cooking humor ✌️✌️👴🏻👴🏻. Those dips are MONEY!

  9. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
    You're Soo funny.
"One should always cleanse the pallet with alcohol", "except for kids", "But that's how you make the kids", "I maybe shouldn't have said that".
    🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

  10. Alton Brown explains to his children that the birds and the bees are not how children are made but rather getting sloshed.

  11. What do y'all make of these heritage recipes designed on wood heat? We're desertifying Michigan and I'm having a hard time.

  12. Since you've elected to display …that…perhaps at some point of convenience do a short foray into salsa. Por favor.

  13. I've been making your original onion dip recipe for many years. When I heard brown sugar, I went a pulled out the original because I knew you had done some tweaking. Hubby and I are "lifers" with all your shows so now…..I have something else to try. So entertaining!! Patty

  14. Why can't the cspan go in a slow cooker crock instead?
Cspan should go on crostini, preferably with enough herbed seasoning to make a frenchman cry.
French onion should have worchestershire, but what about another tricky slip? Use liquid aminos instead (or both!)!
And you should feel great shame for missing the chance to suggest putting the onion on a… french dip sandwich! Bonus reel? Late night snack episode?

  15. I love you man, and I consider myself prepared for your of kilter patter, but I'm pretty sure i pissed a bit watching this one! Thank you, my friend!

  16. Alton – you shan’t put pace picante salsa on your channel. You should know it’s shitass salsa.

  17. I need you and Dan from The Sporkful on an episode stat. Love everything about Alton unhinged.

Also whoever is the audio editor, something always causes this weird … like ghosty scratch in the background where it almost sounds like someone is whispering when wearing high quality headphones lmao

  18. I make my own dip….it also makes a killer pizza sauce.

Cottage cheese, garlic, parmesan, spinach, lemon juice, avocado and milk… thats it no real measuring its all taste…gives a nice creamy rich garlic and parmesan flavor to anything
