    Alton is the sole reason I picked up cooking and it helped me through some of the toughest times in my life growing up. At the age of 14 I began taking care of my younger siblings as my mother wasn’t present and father was an addict. It was up to me to make all the meals, and watching Good Eats gave me such insight and desire to do better. I never pursued a career in food, but I am the home cook for my now wife and two sons. I still utilize all the knowledge he gave me. Alton, you’re a legend in my eyes and a huge inspiration. Josh, I appreciate you having him on your show and allowing us to get to know Alton on this level.

    I think I've seen every episode of Good Eats. My parents taught me how to cook but Alton taught me how to experiment and make something I was really excited about. What a person, what a last meal. So excited we got this one.
